Dr. Patrice Motsepe Re-Elected as CAF President for a Second Term

Dr. Patrice Motsepe has secured a second term as President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) after being re-elected unopposed during the 14th CAF Extraordinary General Assembly in Cairo, Egypt. His leadership will extend until 2029, ensuring continuity in his efforts to modernize African football and attract greater investment in the sport.


Motsepe, who first took office in 2021 as CAF’s first English-speaking president, has maintained a firm grip on African football’s governance.
